PASIGHAT, Sep 9: Minister for Power, Industries & Handloom and Handicraft, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Tamiyo Taga switched a newly installed 20mtrs high mast lam at the Central Donyi Polo Gangging, Pasighat on Sunday in presence of Pasighat MLA Kaling Moyong, DC Tamiyo Tatak and SP Prashant Gautam. The event was also attended and rousing reception was given by the SE and EE (Power), ADC (Hq) and members of CDPYK, ‘Golgi Bote Statue Erection Committee’, host officers, leaders and students of KGBV, Pasighat.
Later in a public meeting held at the Gangging’s Engo Takar Cultural Hall, Minister Taga said that installation of High Mast lightening system at the Gangging campus would facilitate good quality light during night to expedite the ongoing erection work of the twenty fit high statue of Guru Golgi Bote Talom Rukbo, so that it could be unveiled on 2nd October’18 next. He appealed the believers of Donyi-Poloism to donate generously to preserve and promote own religion, tradition and culture.
Taga appreciated the local MLA Kaling Moyong for his pro-activeness and expressed his happiness over the development activities under taken by MLA Moyong so far. He urged the public to be pro-development and to welcome all developmental activities for the greater interest of the area. The minister also appreciated DC Tamiyo Tatak and SP Prashant Gautam for maintenance of law and order and communal harmony in the society. Taga this morning during his visit to KGBV, Pasighat has assured to provide solar lighting system for the school.
MLA Moyong thanked Minister for the noble initiative of installation of the high mast lighting systems in three major locations such as Donyi Polo Gangging, Giidi Notko and Dangaria Baba Mandir where he observed increased traffic movements in recent years. He highlighted various achievements and status of ongoing projects and further assured to bring more developments to the best of his abilities.
Among others, noted writer and Chief Advisor of CDPYK Kaling Borang, President of Central Gangging Ajem Tayeng and Chairman of Golgi Bote Statue Erection Committee also shared their views on the occasion.
