CIRCULAR: Occupational Safety, Health & Labour Welfare in East Siang District

In the interest of the health, safety, dignity and welfare of workers, all establishments of East Siang District to which the provisions of the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 (OSH&WC Code) and the rules made thereunder are applicable are hereby advised/instructed to ensure strict compliance with the following measures:

1. No worker/employee shall be compelled, forced or directed to undertake personal or domestic work of the employer, occupier, proprietor, manager or any supervisory personnel, unless such work forms part of the worker’s lawful employment duties and is covered by the terms and conditions of employment.
2. Employers shall ensure that workers are provided with a safe, healthy and suitable working environment, and that their working hours, wages, rest intervals and other conditions of employment are maintained in accordance with applicable labour laws.
3. Where workers are engaged through a contractor or other intermediary, the principal employer shall ensure that such workers are not diverted or utilized for personal purposes by the employer, contractor or their representatives.
4. Employers shall maintain proper employment records, attendance records and wage records and ensure transparency regarding the nature of duties assigned to every worker.

The concerned establishments shall extend full cooperation to the Labour Inspector-cum-Facilitator during inspection, verification or facilitation visits and shall produce the prescribed records, registers and other documents whenever required under law. Adobe Scan 09 Sept 2026.pdf

This Circular is issued in the interest of occupational safety, health, decent working conditions and welfare of workers and for ensuring effective implementation of the labour welfare provisions in East Siang District.

Pasighat DEO Announces to Launch Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Roll : Schedule Released

dated 14/05/2026, the Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Roll shall be conducted w.r.t 01.07.2026
as the qualifying date for Arunachal Pradesh. The revision process shall be carried out In accordance with
the guidelines issued by the Commission and strictly within the prescribed timelines.
The schedule for the Special Intensive Revision Is as follows:

The following draft of certain Rules which the state Government proposed to make, in exercise of the power conferred by section 129 read with section 446 of the Arunachal Pradesh Municipal Act, 2007 (Act No. 4 of 2008) and section 111, 112, 113, and 116 of Arunachal Pradesh Municipal Corporation Act’ 2019 (Act No. 8 of 2019), the draft Rule is hereby published for information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given
that the said draft Rules shall be taken into consideration on or after the expiry of a period of 30 days from the date on which copies of the Arunachal Pradesh Gazette containing these draft Rules are made available to the public.
Objection and suggestion which may be received from any person within the period specified above will be considered by the State Government.
