Ban on Victory Procession, Rally on Election Counting Day (i.e. 2nd June 2024 & 4th June 2024 under Sec 144 Cr.P.C

Restriction on Vehicle & Persons movement on Election Counting Day (i.e. 2nd June 2024 from 4:30 AM onwards & 4th June 2024 from 6:30 AM onwards) under Sec 144 Cr.P.C in order to regulate overcrowding of supporters and traffic congestion within the premises of Counting venue (DC Office Complex, Pasighat) and to enable free, fail and smooth conduct of counting procedures.

1. There shall be no vehicle movement and no pedestrian movement from quad-junction point to the end of DC Office Complex/ Premises.
2. There shall be no parking in front side of DC Office Building (Highway) road to quad-junction point.
3. No Vehicle shall be allowed in the DC Office Complex.
4. The Vehicles of Contesting Candidates / Election Agents / Counting Agents to be parked outside the DC Office Compound areas as designated.
5. The Vehicles of Officers / Officials / Staff engaged in counting duty also be to parked outside of the DC Office compound areas as designated.
6. Entry of personal only with ID Cards issued by DEO/RO shall be allowed.
7. Supporters / Members of Political Parties should only gather outside the DC Office Area fixed by SP Pasighat.
8. No Mobile Phones shall be allowed in the DC Office Complex.

This notice is hereby given to all the General Public and the concerned persons who are encroaching upon the RoW to vacate RoW of National Highway/ State Highway / Township roads under East Siang District within 07 (seven) days of issuance of this notice, failing to which all the Estate Officers are hereby directed to initiate eviction proceedings in this allocated areas.

The Army Recruitment Office, Jorhat will be conducting an Army Recruitment Rally at Jairampur in Arunachal Pradesh w.e.f. 10th to 13th May 2018 for enrollment of Soldier in Indian Army from the districts of Arunachal Pradesh.

The Categories of Soldiers to be recruited are General Duty, Soldier Tradesman, Soldier Technical, Soldier Nursing Asstt. Soldier Clerk / Storekeeper/ Inventory Management.

The online registration on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in is mandatory for participation in the recruitment rally. The Registration process for the Jairampur Recruitment Rally will remain open from 09/03/2018 to 24/04/2018.

The District Administration in collaboration with AAUN Foundation East Siang District, Pasighat shall open a Facilitation Centre at JN College, Auditorium, Pasighat to hep the aspiring interested candidates to register online for the Rally. Therefore, all the eligible youths of age group 17 years 6 months to 23 years of East Siang, Upper Siang and Siang districts are invited to avail the facility and join the Indian Army and serve the Nation.
