NAMSING, Feb. 18: The East Siang District Administration organized Sarkar Aapke Dwar (SAKD) 2.0 at the remote Namsing today, providing services of various government departments to the rural populace of the far-flung Namsing Circle directly at their doorstep.

More than 500 beneficiaries from Namsing village, Mer, Gadum, Borguli, and other adjoining villages benefitted from the SAKD 2.0 camp. A total of 27 government departments participated, extending on-the-spot services ranging from administrative documentation, welfare schemes, to healthcare services. Hundreds of villagers availed themselves of these facilities, marking the event as a significant step toward inclusive governance.

The SAKD camp at Namsing village was inaugurated by Neena Megu, ZPM of 17 Monggu Banggo II, who attended as the Chief Guest, alongside ADC Mebo Nancy Yirang and CO Toimi Tagi.

Other key initiatives included a Financial Literacy Camp conducted by the State Bank of India, Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank, and AP State Cooperative Bank to educate villagers on banking services and various social security schemes. A Legal Awareness Workshop for the rural populace was also organized by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), East Siang, focusing on legal assistance and support provided by the DLSA.
