One-day Skill Development Awareness Rally-cum-Job Mela held on 14-Feb-2018

One-day Skill Development Awareness Rally-cum- Job Mela conducted on Wednesday (Feb-14) in the District Industries Centre (DIC), Pasighat. Six Vocational Training Providers (VTPs) like RIMT, Orion Edutech, O2 SPA, OSSOMO. Pvt ltd, TATA Strive and Ultimate Resource Pvt ltd participated in the programme. Altogether 247 candidate were registered by the VTPs while 138 of candidates were temporarily registered by DIC, Pasighat for Trade like Handloom and Textile, Driver-cum-Mechanic etc due to non-participation of related VTPs after advertisement, informed M. Megu, Assistant Director (Ind) M. Megu.

Deputy Director, Industries, M. Jamoh while inaugurating the Job Mela advised the trainees to take advantage of such government programme targeted largely to ameliorate the condition of unemployed youth of the state. Eyeing bright future, the department use to provide such skill development programs time to time, ensuring employment opportunities to the job seekers in various fields or to start self-sustaining venture in and outside the state with confidence, he added.
