Training on iRAD organized for Pasighat PS on 11th July 2025

The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH), in technology collaboration with National Informatics Centre (NIC) has been actively implementing the Integrated Road Accident Database (iRAD) / e-Detailed Accident Report (eDAR) projects across India. These are key initiatives to enhance road safety and improve post-accident response mechanisms nationwide.

The stakeholders are Police, Transport (Motor Vehicle), Road/Highways, Health departments and the NIC is the technology partner responsible for end user training and technical support.

In this context, the Police department has been performing the online data entry (registration) of new accidents in the iRAD/eDAR Platform as and when road accidents occur within the jurisdiction of East Siang District. As part of the Capacity Building of the stakeholder departments, NIC Pasighat imparted training program on the iRAD/eDAR system for officials of the Pasighat Police Station on 11/07/2025 at RPL Conference Hall, Pasighat (View Training Circular)
