SILLUK, 27th Feb, 2026:

Over 500 beneficiaries from Silluk village and nearby areas availed a wide range of government services during the Seva Aapke Dwar (SAKD) 2.0 Camp held at Silluk village in East Siang district on 27 February 2026. The programme was formally inaugurated by Shri Oken Tayeng, Hon’ble MLA of 39-Mebo Assembly Constituency, in the presence of Nancy Yirang, ADC Mebo, Toimo Tagi, Circle Officer, along with officials from various line departments of the district.

A total of 24 government departments participated in the camp, offering services related to administrative documentation, welfare schemes, healthcare, and other essential public services. The initiative aimed to bring government services directly to the doorstep of rural citizens, ensuring better accessibility and convenience for the people residing in remote areas.

During the camp, beneficiaries were able to apply for and receive important documents, access information about various government schemes, and avail basic healthcare services. Officials from different departments also interacted with villagers, addressing their concerns and providing guidance on how to benefit from ongoing government programmes.

In addition, a financial literacy camp was organized by the State Bank of India and AP State Cooperative Bank to educate villagers about banking services, savings habits, digital transactions, and various social security schemes. The session aimed to promote financial inclusion and awareness among the rural population.

The camp was successfully organized by the East Siang District Administration, reflecting its commitment to inclusive governance and public service delivery.
