KORANG, 03rd Mar 2026:

A Seva Aapke Dwar (SAKD) 2.0 programme for the year 2026 is set to bring a wide range of government services directly to the doorstep of citizens, ensuring better accessibility, awareness, and delivery of welfare schemes. Various departments will participate in the initiative, offering essential services, guidance, and on-the-spot assistance to the public.

The Horticulture Department will create awareness about its schemes and assist farmers with registration on the MIDH Suraksha Portal, enabling them to access subsidies and modern farming support. The District Transport Office (DTO) will facilitate the issuance of learner’s licences and provide new vehicle registration forms, simplifying transport-related procedures for citizens.

The Economics and Statistics Department will offer Aadhaar-related services, including new enrolment as well as biometric updates and corrections, helping individuals maintain accurate identity records. Meanwhile, the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department will provide free medicines and vitamins, along with treatment and vaccination services for livestock, poultry, and pets. Awareness programmes on government schemes and livestock management practices will also be conducted.

Energy efficiency will be promoted through the distribution of UJALA items such as LED tubes, bulbs, and fans. Financial awareness will be a key focus area, with the State Co-operative Apex Bank and State Bank of India conducting sessions on banking services, digital transactions, account security, and social security schemes like PMJDY, PMJJBY, PMSBY, and APY.

The Agriculture Department will disseminate information about various schemes and issue forms for oil palm cultivation, encouraging farmers to adopt diversified agricultural practices. The District Industry Centre (DIC) will promote entrepreneurship by spreading awareness about schemes such as PMEGP, PM Vishwakarma, and PMFME, along with information on industrial policies, job opportunities, and skill development initiatives.

The Food and Civil Supply Department will assist beneficiaries with the renewal of PHH and AAY ration cards, ensuring continued access to subsidized food grains. The Jan Suvidha Kendra will provide multiple citizen-centric services, including issuance of ST certificates, PRC documents, and birth certificates, making essential documentation more accessible.

The Department of Women and Child Development (WCD), under the ICDS project, will distribute forms related to widow pensions, old age pensions, and disability benefits, while also raising awareness about welfare schemes for vulnerable groups. The Textile and Handicraft Department will organize exhibitions and sales of locally made products, promoting traditional crafts and supporting local artisans.

Overall, the SAKD initiative reflects the government’s commitment to inclusive governance by delivering essential services at the grassroots level. By bringing multiple departments together under one platform, the programme aims to enhance public awareness, improve service delivery, and ensure that the benefits of various schemes reach every section of society efficiently.
