Safer Internet Day on 10th February 2026 at NIELIT Campus

Each year, Safer Internet Day is observed worldwide on the second Tuesday of February to raise awareness and promote the safe and responsible use of the internet, particularly among children, women, and young people. This year, Safer Internet Day will be celebrated on 10th February 2026 under the theme “Smart tech, Safe choices- Exploring the safe and responsible use of AI”.
As a part of the nationwide campaign, NIC Pasighat would like to organize the event at your NIELIT Extension Centre, Pasighat (Afternoon) to educate students on safe online practices, cyber hygiene, major cyber threats and effective mitigation strategies, while fostering responsible Internet usage among citizens.
