Open Mini Marathon “Run for Sports” on 18 February 2018

An Open Mini Marathon with the theme “Run for Sports” for the Youth in particular and citizens in general will be organized on 18 February here, by the Department of Sports, Govt. of AP, as Part of Statehood Day celebrations. The District Sports Officer(DSO), has invited all ( Men & Women) above 15 years to take part in the event and informed that the registration form is available at office of  DSO(Sports), adding that last date of form submission is 17th February,2018. The event also carries Cash Prizes for winners (Men & Women), including Consolation prizes . The Marathon will start from Daying Ering Govt. Hr.Sec. School,Pasighat upto Bodak-Mebo-tri junction and back to Daying Ering Govt. Hr. Sec. School Pasighat as Finishing point.

The main objective behind conducting “Run for Sports” is encourage the youth in particular to participate in sports activities and awaken and rejuvenate the importance of sports in one’s life.
