This website is a genuine attempt on the part of the District Administration to connect with the people of East Siang, and at the same time, disseminate information about the District outside.

The problems facing our District are not hidden from anyone. The District has the poorest socio-economic indicators within the State of Arunachal Pradesh. Tough terrain, unfavorable climatic conditions, lack of electronic connectivity and poor infrastructure make any developmental initiative, a lot more difficult to achieve. Further, the District is also plagued by the problem of insurgency, which makes it difficult to take fruits of development to remote areas. But with great problems come great challenges. This website was developed with a similar challenge of taking Administration close to people in difficult working conditions.
